Ajith is donning dual roles in Thala 55th directed by Gautham Menon. This film is yet to be titled. Arun Vijay is donning the villain role in the film. Ajith will be donning the youth look and will be pairing with Trisha.
Producer A M Rathinam has mentioned that director Gautham Menon has sculpted this youth Ajith role in a very stylish way. Now an interval of one week has been granted. The shooting of the film commence in a couple of days. Sequences pertaining to Arun Vijay and Trisha will be shot. Rathnam has mentioned that this one week gap is to ready Ajith for his youth getup.
