Purambokku is a film which has Arya, Vijay Sethupathi, Shaam and Karthika in the cast. S P Jananathan is directing this film. The shooting of this film took place recently at Jaisalmer in Rajasthan. The place Jaisalmer is famous for camel racing.
Based on that, there is also a camel racing sequence in Purambokku. This sequence was shot recently. Since Karthi was supposed to ride a camel in the race sequence, she was trained in camel racing for few days.
After this, Karthika had acted in this camel racing sequence along with 100 camels. Karthika while speaking about this said, "I was really thrilled to act in this sequence. I think that I would be the first actress who was trained and acted in this sequence."
