Director Shankar has already commenced the shooting of his next high budgeted film titled I. This film has also a big star cast consisting of Vikram, Amy Jackson, Santhanam, Suresh Gopi and others.
A R Rahman had already composed a song for I. Shankar has shot this song sequence featuring Vikram and Amy Jackson in a gargantuan set erected at AVM Studios. There will be another heroine in this film.
There was news that this heroine will appear in the second half of this film and talks are being held with a popular Bollywood actress for this role. Now Deepika Padukone has given her green signal. Deepika Padukone is currently busy in Hindi films and also in Tamil film Kochadaiyaan which has super star Rajnikanth in the lead role. Shankar has told Deepika that she can give her dates at a later date since her role is small in this film. She has also agreed for this.
