Sandakozhi is a film which was released some nine years ago. This film which was directed by Lingusamy had Vishal, Raj Kiran, Ganja Karuppu, Meera Jasmine and Monika in the cast. This film was a great success.
The film was also a great commercial hit. Because of this, director Hari has kept the same location in Poojai which was used for Sandakozhi climax sequence. Poojai is being produced by Vishal under the banner Vishal Film Factory.
This film has Vishal and Shruthi Haasan in the lead roles. Hari is directing this film. A fighting sequence has been shot in Karaikudi. This was the place the climax sequence was shot for the film Sandakozhi.
This film which is being released for Deepavali has the music of Yuvan Shankar Raja.
