Actress Nadiya who doubted Sripriya

Actress Nadiya had doubted that whether that Sripriya will be able to direct. In 90s, Nadiya was one of the leading actresses of the South Indian film industries. Now she is donning mother and sister-in-law roles.

She donned the role of Jayam Ravi’s mother in the film M. Kumaran S/O Mahalakshmi. Later on she continued to act in such roles in many films. Now she is donning an important role in a Telugu film titled Drishya. This film is being directed by actress Sripriya.

Actress Nadiya while speaking about the film said, "So far as I donning very peaceful roles. Now the first time I am donning the role of an authoritative police officer. The film Drishya is the remake of the super hit Malayalam film Drishyam. I have seen that film. I heard that Sripriya is going to direct the film.

When she approached me, I was apprehensive about how she will approach a film compared to a male director but I soon realized end of the day, work is work and it doesn't matter who is doing it.

But the advantage was that since I was working with Sripriya, I spent a lot of time bonding with her off the sets. It is a great thing for a woman to achieve in cinema which is filled with male chauvinism. Only successes will bring women to this field. In that way I feel this film will be a great success."
