Maan Karate gets U certificate

After Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam, Sivakarthikeyan has donned the lead role in the film titled Maan Karate.

Thirukumaran who was earlier an assistant to director A R Murugadoss has directed this film.

A R Murugadoss has written the story and screenplay for this film which has the music of Anirudh. Hansika has paired with Sivakarthikeyan.  

This is the first time Hansika has paired with Sivakarthikeyan. Soori and Satish who had rocked with Sivakarthikeyan in Ethir Neechal  are also starring in this film. Recently this film was screened for the Censor Board members for certification.

The members after seeing the film has certified it with a U certificate without giving any cuts. Moreover they had appreciated director Thirukumaran for not having double meaning dialogues, violence and vulgarity in this film.

Murugadoss has produced the film along with Madhan of Escape Artistes Motion Pictures. The film is being released on 4th April.

Ashok Amritraj says that he will produce another film for Rajinikanth

In the year 1988, super star Rajinikanth had acted in a English film titled Blood Stone produced by Ashok Amritraj.

Ashok Amritraj is a Hollywood producer who had produced more than 100 films. He was in Chennai and while speaking to the media about Kochadaiyaan said, “In Hollywood, ultra modern technology is ruling.

Now in India for the first time, Kochadaiyaan was produced using  Photo Realistic Performance Capturing Technology. 

Things that cannot be done in reality can be done only through these films. The audience will be awe stuck. This film will show another dimension of Rajinikanth.  

After Blood Stone, I produced a Tamil film titled Jeans. Rajini is my friend. If I want to produce a film for him, there should be a story suitable for him. If we get that kind of story, I will definitely produce a film for Rajinikanth.”

Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam 2

These days the sequels to the hit films are being produced. Some of the  examples are Singam 2, Pizza 2, Vishwaroopam 2 and Jai Hind 2.


Now the part 2 of the film Boss Engira Bhaskaran which had Arya, Nayanthara and Santhanam in the cast is to be produced. 

In part 2 of this film Arya, Nayanthara, Tamannaah and Santhanam are acting. Now there is news that the part 2 of the film Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam which had Sivakarthikeyan and Sri Divya in the cast is to be produced.

In part 2, Sri Divya will not be pairing with Sivakarthikeyan. It is understood that either Andrea or Priya Anand might pair with him. The official announcement regarding this is yet to be made.

Bollywood actress in Anjaan

Anjaan is a film which has Surya and Samantha in the lead roles. This film is being directed by Lingusamy.

Vidyut Jamal, Manoj Bajpai, Vivek, Brahmanandam and Soori are also acting in this film.

This film is being jointly produced by Thirupathi Brothers and UTV Motion Pictures. Santhosh Sivan is handling the camera while Yuvan Shankar Raja is composing the music. 

Bollywood actress Chitrangada Singh had danced for a Kuthu song. The lyrics for the Kuthu song which begins with the lines Sirippu En Specialty has been penned by Vivega. This song sequence was shot in a set erected at a cost of Rs 1 Crore.  Chitrangada Singh was also paid Rs 1 Crore as salary.

Sivakarthikeyan while speaking to the media said, “ Since I am acting with Hansika I have to face lots of questions about my heroines. 

For me story and role is important. I am not bothered about the heroine who is acting with me. 

There are news that next I will be acting with Nayanthara or Kajal Aggarwal. I am really very happy to act with them but I am not that much competent to interfere with the story and heroine matters.

I will act with any heroine. I am not a person who acts in a film and get the remuneration and go. I will watch that  right from the producer to the canteen boy is benefited.  Only after completing a film I will act in another film. I am very firm in this. Since I am happy with my wife and child, I mind my own business.”
