Lakshmi Menon had donned the female lead role in the films Sundarapandian and Kumki. She is very cheerful and invigorated because both her films were great hits.
Now she has been signed for the female lead role in the Tamil films Kutty Puli and Manja Pai. In these films, she is pairing with Sasikumar and Vimal respectively.
In these films also she is donning the role of a village girl like her earlier films. Lakshmi Menon while speaking said, “I came to cinema to earn a good name as an actress. I got good films and also earned the name as a good actress.
At the same time, I am also interested to act with leading actors but I have to act glamorously in the song sequences if I had to pair with actors like Ajith, Vijay or Surya. There will also be kissing sequences.
This will not suit me. Hence I have decided not to act with them for time being. I am accepting the roles which are suitable for me.
Even if I am there for short span of time in cinema, I should earn the name as a good actress. That is my wish.”
